 We have our sights set on new horizons. North of Char Jamuna is where we are expanding our school building program to offer the opportunity of a lifetime to more local boys and girls. Every CO-ID school that opens is a beacon of hope for the local community, educating hundreds of children. However, things don't just happen overnight. We have to plan our locations and work closely with local villages to ensure the available. The new schools must be in the right places as there is little if any transport - just your two feet. Many children willingly walk an incredible distance to come to school. Once the school sites are approved, we can get up to speed pretty quickly and organise the building, painting, desks and chairs - and of course sourcing teachers. For just AUD$6,500(US$6,000) we can build a new school.
